Juventus Rethinking Interaction for Educational Decision-Making

Juventus – Rethinking Interaction for Educational Decision-Making

As part of a full website redesign for Juventus, a university offering programs in economics, medicine, and technology, I was responsible for developing the interaction concept. The platform is primarily a functional tool used to search and book study programs, decisions that often shape several years of a person’s life and define their professional future.

Starting Point

The challenge was to design an interaction system that feels fast and efficient, while also giving users a sense of confidence and positive reinforcement during a high-stakes decision process. The website had to remain technically precise and easy to use, but emotionally supportive at the same time.

Outcome

Inspired by the client’s philosophy and visual identity, I developed a concept based on the metaphor of a river. Choosing a course becomes a journey: entering the stream, moving through faster and slower currents, and eventually arriving at a calm, open lake. This idea shaped the motion language of the site. I created custom timing and easing curves inspired by the natural behavior of flowing water. Faster interactions support quick scanning and filtering, while softer transitions allow space for reflection when exploring detailed information.
